If you have children between the ages of 3-5 years old, don't miss this free parent/child event!  Learn ways to enhance your child's brain development while enjoying a fun-filled movement class.  This one-time workshop will meet on Friday, June 20, beginning at 9:30am at the Christ Lutheran Vail Ministry Center, 14600 E. The class will be taught by Maggie McKiernan.  Teaching has been her passion since she graduated from the University of London in 1972. For the past 24 years, she has had her own education consulting business. She has a program of movement, music and drama which caters to children, 1 – 12 years, many of whom have special needs; She coaches teachers in classrooms throughout Pima county on a grant from First Things First; and she also teaches ECE and CDA classes for Pima Community College. "I lovewhat I do, and gets up each morning with a smile on my face to spend my day playing and exploring with kids.  I look forward to meeting and playing with all of you."
